The character of the Kimotas Archimandrite is stamped as the symbol of the Armenian Genocide. Being a close friends with Kimotas Archimandrite, Yeghishe Tadevosyan wished to depict him not as a carrier of tragedy but as an embodiment of blossom: Komitas of hope and light. The artists created the character of Komitas in an impressionistic way, that is the closest to his heart, showing the glorification of his subtle and sensitive inner world.

Eduard Isabekyan: "Memory is a very important thing. There is no other nation in the world that needs memory more than the Armenian nation. Because there is no other nation in the world that has left its property, its soil, 99% of everything owned to others. If Igdirtsis forget Igdir, Alashkertsis - Alashker, Vanetsis forget Van, Bayazettsis - Bayazets and etc If they forget that the entire nation never forgot where they are from. The Armenian needs our memory, for him to be able to own whatever his has lost, so as always to remember that he has to bring back whatever he has lost."

Eduard Isabekyan is from Igdir. In 1918 the artist's family migrated and pain of the loss of his motherland was so strong that he didn’t want to go back to Igdir that had been left in the hands of the enemy. Eduard Isabekyan wrote: "You dear, didn’t you have feet to migrate with us, so that we took you to the other side of Araz as well. You remained in order to be geographical concept of "alive dead"..."

Eduard Isabekyan: "The world is full of misfortunes, if a human being doesn’t have to experience it all, but still he does. And the worst part is that one gets a great part of it… And what happened to us wasn’t a misfortune so as to stop hurting, get closed up by dust, it wasn’t a pain that you could tolerate by clenching the teeth… This is an incurable wound, the pain of brain, the anguish of soul..."
